Nunchaku
Early references to the nunchaku state that it was a device used
by mounted soldiers as a bridle. Basically it was constructed from two
pieces of hardwood tied together by horsehair. However, other
references lay claim to the nunchaku being nothing more than a simple
farming implement used for separating rice. In the hands of a skilled
martial artist the nunchaku is without a doubt a formidable weapon. |
